How does the trade-in service work? 

The Bellerose Second-Hand trade-in offer is limited to people aged 18 and over and residing in Belgium.

Your item must be clean, undamaged, and fully functional: no missing parts, no holes or tears, no stains or odor.

Items that do not have a serial number (see composition label) cannot be returned.

The condition of the items is defined as follows:

New condition: With original tag, never worn.

Excellent condition: The item is like-new with no signs of wear or defects.

Very good condition: The item shows only minor wear, invisible at 30 cm.

Bellerose second-hand is entitled to redefine the condition of each garment sent after it has been examined by our experts.

Rest assured. The refused items are still given a second life. They are given to an association specialized in textile recovery or reused in an upcycling approach by one of our partners.

Once the trade-in request is generated, you just have to print the transfer form, sign it and insert it into your parcel.

You can send several items in one box. However, you should only use a shipping note and keep the stamped proof of deposit!

Your parcel can be dropped off at a Bpost office. You can find the list of drop-off points here.

Our Quality Experts will check the condition of your items as soon as we receive your parcel. If they meet the return conditions, you will be notified of the credit to your Bellerose Second-Hand customer account by email within 15 working days (from the reception date of your package at our warehouse).

Your credit will be paid as your items are validated by our Quality Experts. If more than one of your pieces is accepted, you will be credited with an amount corresponding to the total value of the pieces traded in.

Please contact our Customer Service only if the 15 working days deadline is exceeded.

You will then be able to generate one or more vouchers at your convenience (date and amount) and use them within 12 months from the date of issue in one of the following networks:

Can I send back a item that has been altered?

An item that has been altered and/or modified outside of our network will not be eligible for trade-in.

In addition, stained, damaged and/or repaired items will not be eligible for trade-in credit. 

In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use and in coherence with our eco-responsible approach, we do not return to the sender the items which do not respect our conditions of return. 

However, rest assured: rejected items are still given a second life! They are indeed given to an association specialized in textile recovery or are reused in an upcycling approach by one of our partners.

How are the items reconditioned?

Each item is returned to its saleable condition and is re-labeled. It is cleaned using environmentally friendly processes.

How much money will I receive?

When you make your trade-in request, our simulator proposes a buy-back value, between 30% and 60% of the original sales price including tax, depending on the nature of the product and the condition you declare for each part.

This value is validated or adjusted if necessary by our reconditioning team, and is credited directly to your Bellerose Second-Hand account within 15 working days (from the date of receipt of your package by our Quality Experts).

If our team finds that the returned items do not comply with the trade-in conditions and cannot be resold, your account will not be credited.

What are the conditions of the service, and how to use my credit?

If the conditions of return are respected, you will be notified of the credit of your customer account Bellerose Second Hand by email within 15 working days (from the date of receipt of your package by our Quality Experts). If several of your pieces have been accepted, you will be credited with an amount corresponding to the value of all the pieces traded in.

You will receive your credits as your items pass the quality control (processing times differ depending on the condition of the items).

Please contact our Customer Service only if the 15 working days deadline is exceeded.

You will then be able to generate one or more vouchers at your convenience and use them within 12 months from the date of issue in any of the three networks.

Coupons can be used on all items and are valid for 12 months.

What are the delivery terms following a purchase?

We only deliver in Belgium, via our carrier Mondial Relay.

Delivery is charged (except during promotional periods) within a maximum of 5 working days. There are two delivery options: delivery in relay point (7€ TTC) and home delivery (9€ TTC).

What are the terms of return following a purchase?

You have a period of 14 days from the date of receipt of your package to return a piece.

 You placed your order with a Bellerose Second Hand account? Here are the steps to follow:

 1. Log in to your customer account

 2. Select the item(s) you wish to return, and specify the reason for the return

 3. Download and print the return label

 4. Drop off your package at a post office or a Bpost retailer.

Don't forget to keep your stamped proof of delivery!

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer following a purchase on the Bellerose Second-Hand website.

We do not offer exchanges, only refunds for returns by mail. We invite you to place a new order online to acquire the desired piece in another color or size.
